The aim of this course is to introduce the main themes of human geography and some tools in the acquisition of geographic information. The course places emphasis on the global challenges of sustainable development (social and environmental dynamics, use of resources, environmental changes) and on the analysis of the landscape, understood as the context within which human life takes place determining its quality and as a resource for a local durable and sustainable development.
